To make a claim for items left at TSA security checkpoints, please fill out the official TSA Lost and Found form.
The Los Angeles International Airport Lost and Found Office does not charge any fees to file lost or found property reports. Please only submit reports through the official Lostings Airport Lost and Found system.

For items left behind at a TSA Passenger Security Checkpoint, fill out a TSA Lost and Found Report for assistance in locating and retrieving your property.
Lost and Found receives items left at security checkpoints the following business day. Our Lost and Found software automatically compares lost property reports with found property in our system for matching purposes.
Please note that confiscated items are not delivered to the Lost and Found Office.
If you find an item at LAX, please return it to the LAX Airport Lost and Found Office or report it on a third-party site such as Lostings.com.
Please include a detailed description and keep the item secure until it is transferred. The online system is available 24/7 for submitting found items.
The Los Angeles International Airport Lost and Found Department uses advanced Lostings.com Inventory Management Software to match lost and found reports within our database.
When a match is identified, the owner is notified and connected with the Lost and Found Office to arrange retrieval.
